AOL Email Settings
With incorrect settings you can not receive email from us or from people trying to contact you through the Lake Houston Web site.

AOL 9.0 has Spam filtering and email blocking features that can prevent people from successfully contacting you. On the AOL Mail window click on "Mail Options" and select "Block Unwanted Email". Under "Control Who I Get Mail From" select "Allow mail from all senders". Under "Blocked mail should be:", select "Delivered to the Spam folder".

If you are a business or need to receive from potentially any person on the Internet, these settings will allow you to receive mail.

Member Area Login Problems
Passwords are case sensitive. Ensure you do not have your caps lock on or that you are using capital letters when necessary to enter your password.

It has been reported that ZoneAlarm can block cookies necessary to login to the member areas of the Lake Houston Web site. Cookies are necessary to remain logged into your account. If you use ZoneAlarm and are having trouble logging in, disable the cookie blocking feature of ZoneAlarm.
