Lake Houston is a reservoir on the west fork of the San Jacinto River in Texas. The reservoir is the primary municipal water supply for the city of Houston and much of the surrounding area. The lake has been stocked with multiple species of fish including catfish, largemouth bass, white crappie, and bluegill. Boating, swimming, fishing, hiking and camping, along with other activities are popular uses of the lake.
